Unitrans Interior Artwrok

Be a part of the next Moo-vin' Moo-seum Installation with the Moo-seum Interior Art Project. We are looking for student artists to bring their creativity and help brighten people's commutes by creating 15"x11" art pieces according to our theme: Make Someone's Day! 
 

Theme: Make Someone's Day!

 

Our team of five curators will be selecting 20 artists to have their artwork and artist statement installed on the Moo-vin Moo-seum Bus. All artists who have their art installed will receive a $50 gift card to either The Coho, Amazon, a grocery store or gas station. 
 

Requirements:

  • Artists must be currently enrolled at UC Davis.
  • Art must be 15 inches wide by 11 inches long (please include 1/8" bleed margins)
  • Art can be created either digitally or created directly on provided poster boards. Information on how to pickup and drop off posters is below.
  • All artwork must follow UC Davis Principles of Community.
  • Artists must include an artists statement (150 words max) about their piece explaining how it fits the theme: Make Someones Day!.
  • The submission form along with all artwork must be submitted by 11:59pm on Friday, January 31st.

Timeline: 

  • January 1st: Submissions open. 
  • January 31st: Submissions close. 
  • February 7th: Art selected and artists notified. 
  • February 21st: Art installed on Moo-seum Bus. 
  • February 21st: Artists receive gift cards. 

 

How to pickup and drop-off poster cards (for artist creating art directly):

  1. Pickup a blank 15"x11" ad card from the Unitrans Business office located in the basement of South Hall (South Hall, 180 E Quad, Davis, CA 95616) during normal business hours (M-F, 9am-5pm). 
  2. Drop off your finished ad card at the Unitrans Business Office with your name and email legibly written on the back of the ad card 
  3. Fill out and submit the submission form.

Selection Process:

Our team of five Curators will be selecting 20 artists to have their artwork and artist statement installed on the Moo-vin Moo-seum Bus. Submissions will be evaluated by Curators based on creativity, quality, and adherence to the contest's theme. AI generated art will not be considered.
