The art hanger project is an ongoing initiative to create art hangers that are installed throughout the entire Unitrans fleet, helping brighten people's commute with art.
Art hangers are made from up-cycled materials; either reused Unitrans transit surveys or cardboard boxes. Art hangers have been created by the UCD Art Club, Mr. Monhollen's Drawing, Painting, and Graphic Design students at Davis Senior High School, and with Davis community members at Secret Spot.
Art hangers are installed on most Unitrans buses on the handrails.
